Beyond my financial and audit expertise (and flying hours), these skills have proved beneficial to the many leaders and organizations that I have worked with over the past 20 years, from project take offs to budget landings and everything in between.

Thanks to strong communications skills and broad knowledge of end-to-end processes, I enable my customers to consistently meet milestones, ensure compliance and keep costs on budget, regardless of project scale or environment complexity.

Chief Operations Officer

Executive right-hand to the Director of a multinational Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR)  department, I have been supporting the successful roll-out of a digital literacy initiative involving hundreds of public, private and civil society stakeholders across 40+ countries.

  • Leading the business requirements, project goals, risks and mitigation strategies needed to meet the complex time, compliance and budget constraints;

  • Prioritizing the customer needs and managing project risks in a way that maximizes customer satisfaction and timely delivery;

  • Working closely with the CEO to develop new projects and strategies to achieve success;

  • Establishing control procedures to monitor all programs;

  • Creating a reporting system to effectively communicate the progress of the organization to its Directors.

Senior Business Partner

Following the purchase of Business Objects by SAP, I led the introduction of finance processes within the Irish entity (€700M annual revenues) at senior management level.

  • Developed internal control policies and procedures and coaching senior stakeholders. 

  • Coordinated accounting requirements with Global Treasury for private €750M placement within Irish entity.

  • Developed strong processes within Revenue Recognition for large scale increases in volume to take place.

  • Led the enhancement of quarterly business reports.

  • Coordinated the transition of the Finance Function to a new work environment ('App-Haus') and championed the use of Design Thinking within that function.

Finance Manager

Leading a team of six, I supported the Local CFO and Corporate Finance department in undertaking all aspects of financial management, including corporate accounting, regulatory and financial reporting.

  • Directed the project team responsible for the introduction of a new Procure System across local subsidiaries.

  • Contributed to maintaining cost control for a local entity with 30 business units and 1000 employees.

  • Successfully implemented a new payroll process able to handle doubling of headcount in less than 3 years.

Financial Controller

Managed a team of eight and reported to the Group Financial Director and Managing Directors in subsidiaries with €50M annual turnover, I undertook all aspects of financial management in addition to setting up financial processes and procedures for a new business within in the group.

Audit Senior

Led a team specialized in large multinational audit engagements  (up to €500m annual revenues) and advised the Financial Director of major Irish political party on compliance with electoral legislation.
